Connecting your Discogs account: explained step by step
Connecting your Discogs account to RecordFlower is the first and most important step. The process is simple, secure, and one-time. After that, RecordFlower handles the synchronization.
Step 1: Create your RecordFlower account
Go to recordflower.com and create an account with your email address. You choose your package: iFrame Webshop, Standalone Webshop or Pro / Growth. The first 14 days are free, no credit card required.
Step 2: Connect your Discogs account
In your dashboard, click 'Connect Discogs'. You are redirected to Discogs, where you grant RecordFlower one-time authorization to read your inventory. You never share a password; the connection runs through a secure, standard method. After confirmation, your inventory loads.
Step 3: Set up your Stripe connection
Create a Stripe account through your RecordFlower dashboard and complete the one-time identity verification. Once Stripe has verified your account, you can receive payments. Payment is released after your shipping confirmation and paid out according to your Stripe payout schedule.
Step 4: Personalize and go live
Add your logo, set your colors, and fill in your company details. Your store is accessible as soon as your subscription is active; during the first synchronization, your inventory fills up and your records appear as soon as they're loaded.
What this means for you
Four steps, 10 minutes on average. After setup, synchronization runs automatically, there is nothing left for you to configure.
