Multilingual webshop: how RecordFlower serves buyers in their own language
A buyer who can read your webshop in their own language buys faster. RecordFlower supports nine languages, fully automatically, with nothing for you to translate yourself.
Nine languages, automatic
Your RecordFlower webshop's interface is available in Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Danish and Japanese. The language is automatically matched to your buyer's browser setting. You don't need to configure anything for this.
What is and isn't translated
The fixed elements of your webshop, such as buttons, navigation, checkout text and order confirmations, are translated. Your own product descriptions come directly from Discogs and are not automatically translated. If you want to sell internationally, it pays to enter your Discogs descriptions in English, the most widely used language in the international vinyl market.
More languages in the future
RecordFlower expands its language offering based on growth in active countries. Want to stay up to date on expansions? Follow the roadmap on the RecordFlower website.
What does this mean for you?
A multilingual webshop lowers the barrier for international buyers. RecordFlower handles the technical side, you focus on your stock.
